FT: Inter 0-1 Milan

GET IN! MILANO IS RED AND BLACK! Not the prettiest of performances by the Rossoneri, sitting back a lot after the goal, but they made the most of one chance through Pulisic and also kept out a penalty thanks to Maignan’s brilliance.

So nice to have extended the unbeaten run against the Nerazzurri after the horrible 6 defeats in a row.

90'

Five minutes added on.

90'

Milan are sitting way too deep now. Great chance for Bonny there, with no opponents close to him despite being just by the start of the penalty box.

88'

Nervous minutes await Milan. Inter are pushing with everything they have to find the equaliser.

86'
Third sub for Milan...

On: Loftus-Cheek.

Off: Leao.

78'
First subs for Milan...

On: Nkunku, Ricci.

Off: Pulisic, Fofana.

74'
MAIGNAN SAVES THE PENALTY!

The goalkeeper guesses the right way and keeps out the penalty from Calhanoglu! It has been a great evening for Maignan so far, it has to be said, and the MOTM award looms…

72'
Penalty to Inter!

The referee awards a penalty to Inter and a yellow card to Pavlovic.

72'
VAR check ongoing...

Possible penalty for Inter here.

71'

Pavlovic with a stamp on Thuram inside the box, it’s risky defending from the Serbian for sure.

63'

Some end-to-end stuff now, Inter pushing forward to get their equaliser and Milan threatening on the counter.

54'
GOAL! PULISIC WITH THE OPENER!

Brilliant interception by Fofana, who finds Saelemaekers on the right, and the Belgian fires a great shot towards goal. Sommer gets a hand to it, but it’s not enough to prevent Pulisic from converting the rebound. 1-0 up!

Inter 0-1 Milan

Goal pulisic 2025-26
53'

Strong start to the second half by Inter, but at least Milan managed to have some longer possession just now.

46'
The second half is underway!

45 minutes to go for the Rossoneri. While the first half wasn’t terrible, they will need to change things a little to come away with all three points tonight.

All square so far...
HT: Inter 0-0 Milan

Inter had the best chances to take the lead, hitting the post twice, but Milan had some good moments in attack too. It will be very interesting to see how the Rossoneri will approach the second half.

47'
Yellow card for Leao

Silly challenge by the Milan No.10, as Barella wasn’t in a dangerous position or anything. Really unnecessary.

45'

Three minutes added on.

44'
Pulisic just wide!

The American tries to curl it into the back of the net and nearly succeeds.

37'
MAGIC MIKE!

Huge save by Maignan to deny Lautaro! He deflected it onto the post, so it’s the second time Inter have hit the woodwork. Really good stuff by the Frenchman.

27'
Inter hit the post...

Acerbi hits the post for Inter with a nice header on a corner. Milan got lucky there.

25'

And there is the obligatory Fofana shot from distance! Not even close to hitting the target there (shocker!).

19'

Much better from Milan now, nicely done by Leao and Pulisic there to find Bartesaghi out wide. Cross cleared.

16'
First Milan chance!

Bartesaghi fires wide! Good attack by Milan, above all by Rabiot, and a decent chance for the youngster.

  1. aww, miss estupido’s comedic actions

the coach yells: “just kick the ball into stands!!” haha 😀

hope to see him play in the second half when milan is struggling loll

  2. Dream of Estupido more than his ‘fans’ loll, dream of his comedy actions. First thing of this milan.. so iconic haha savvio you don’t dream of him? you’re his biggest supporter

    1. I’m not a clown like you, I am a big supporter of ALL Milan players…..You can’t go one post without mentioning Pervis…Can you? Let’s see…

      1. lol I just made a comment, are you looking into a mirror? haha

“I am a big supporter of ALL Milan players…..” Your comment is most honest and truthful here..
But why did you get hurt if you support all players?

Not ‘can you’, you should ask can the coach, and its up to who is coming up next as sub 😉

  3. Bartendershaji what a world class find ! Estupinian where is he ?
Get in leao on left and make the ball else we will be cooked.

  4. only 2 shots from milan so Far. both off target.

Only 2 shots for Milan so far. Bartesaghi dragged his shot wide from a good position and Fofana shoots over.

  5. The referee can take the yellow card and put it up his mom’s bottom. He is guaranteed inter fan. Lautaro can do whatever he wants he can elbow, kick players but when Leao or Milan does something that isn’t even that bad then he gives yellow the referee chalha and Lautaro 100% are butt buddies and suck each other

  6. I don’t get hurt Rosso…rather the opposite. I think you are hilarious. No, I was betting that you can’t stop posting about Pervis…has nothing to do with the coach.

  7. Inter dominated the first half. None of the Milan players are playing badly, and none are playing really well either. Inter are just playing better football. Same as the Roma match. May be a good opportunity for Jashari to come on at some point.

  8. I really wont complain too much about the first half as I see it as a fairly equal match even though we at least got lucky on the goal post hits and even more so on the header by Acerbi whereas the 2nd one at least Maignan did some magic. On the other hand Inter also seemed to be lucky that Pulisic’s shot went wide of goal.
Well Fofana might not play very good today or lately for that matter and I probably would sub him but neither will I blame his missed shot from outside the penalty kick area as much as if he hadn’t tried for it.
Bartesaghi has been doing very good for us as well and up until now doesn’t really think he has put a foot wrong so kudos to the kid.
Overall I think we can still win this one but it can definitely also go in Inters favor.
Forza Milan, lets give them a tough second half and make them bleed and grab a win in the process.

      1. He did well there and I will but will you then give credit to allegri then for starting Bartesaghi and accept that he started Pervis in the last match to allow us to have two fit left backs 😀

          1. I can fully understand some rotation is done to keep the entire squad fit as well.

Even though I could see that is what should have been done my Italian is fairly limited to naughty words 😀 nevertheless good to know that Allegri also saw it that way as it was a simple choice in that situation and the right one as well.

      2. No. Broken clock is still showing the correct time twice a day. He lost all credit with me due to his poor attitude and terrible decision making

      1. Yes, I told her that you are intellectually deficient and incapable of caring for yourself. She’s a nurse and can change your diapers too.

  9. Today is the day I question Nkunku’s usefulness.

He looks entirely disinterested in defending a lead in the derby. Really disappointing .

    1. he is there to get the ball when someone blasts it forwards. unfortunately the balls to him werent direct pretty or were to short for reach,

      1. Yep I get that. But watch again and you will sense was never in motion making himself available. A bit of jogging, a bit of standing. Meh. And he never made a 100% challenge to win a ball that was off the mark.

I want this guy to succeed. He’s ideal as competition and substitution for Pulisic. I’ll forgive rust and coming back to form. But effort is a choice and Nkunku wasn’t making it tonight.

  10. Milan win!!! Inter were probably the better team tonight, but goals win games!

Fofana’s, tackle in midfield, and his quick 1-2 with Leao and his quick pass to Sale who put it on a plate for Pulisic to finish was the winning goal. But Magic Mike was definitely MVP tonight!

    1. I gotta say see him missing that penalty kick and then shortly after getting subbed off and then seeing him in the stands with an irritated expression on his face made this win even better.
South Parks Cartman licking salty tears comes to mind here 😀

        1. No question there as I was pretty much Cursing Hakan throughout the match when I saw him so seeing him miss that shot definitely made it an even better weekend 😀
Barella looking disgruntled after getting subbed and 0-1 down didn’t make it worse either 🙂

          1. Yeah he was indeed as he had me worried several times but I just doesn’t like him as he often rubs me off the wrong way when we meets Inter. Often diving and often complaining that is 😀

  11. rlc come in, not having his best, but he show an effort to help the team.
then we got nkunku, again, he add nothing. inter defense doesn’t seem to care or worry about him, as he is too easy to handle. notice once puli was out, every inter cb move up past mid lane albeit in rotation. once leao out…every inter cb up on milan half…..that’s how dangerous nkunku is.
