Intermediary claims Milan, Juventus and Inter want €30m-rated Arsenal talent

By Oliver Fisher -

An intermediary has claimed that AC Milan are one of the sides interested in signing Charlie Patino from Arsenal next summer, along with Juventus.

Milan have talent scouts watching more than just the top division in each country, as the acquisitions of players like Pierre Kalulu, Malick Thiaw and Jan-Carlo Simic in recent years show, and another prospect seems to have caught their eye.

Intermediary Michele Fratini spoke about Patino a few weeks ago and mentioned Milan as one of the teams who want to sign him, and today during an interview with TV Play he gave a bit more information regarding the Swansea City loanee.

“He’s in everyone’s notebook a bit. He is among the 50 strongest young players in the world. Juventus? I don’t know if Rabiot will stay. Patino is left-footed like him and Giuntoli wants to take the strongest talents around to give quality and geometry to the midfield in the control room,” he said (via Radio Rossonera).

“As for the cost, the Gunners are asking for around 30 million euros, maybe 20 in fixed income and 10 in bonuses. But Juve has some bargaining chips, first of all Moise Kean: it’s true that his first experience in the Premier League with Everton didn’t go well, but now he’s recovering and could be the striker Arsenal are looking for to complete the attacking department.

“For January or June? Juve would like to make the move as early as January, while Milan are thinking more about him for the summer. Then, also pay attention to Inter as Calhanoglu’s heir.

“I’ll tell you, today he is playing on loan at Swansea. He is a pure talent, he is left-footed, he is the only playmaker in English football. He is linked to all the top Italian clubs such as Milan, Juventus, Inter and Napoli. He costs 30 million. He is very strong, he is out of every category.”

The 20-year-old already has seven goal contributions in 17 games for a Swansea side that have so far struggled in the Championship. Last season, in a relegated Blackpool team, he got two goals and four assists in 34 games.

  1. Why the hell would Arsenal want Kean, I would kind of understand it if it was an Aprils fools joke but still even then… 😀

      1. Sports betting 😀 Kidding aside you never know if they will still move for him because his ban ends in mid January and even if in a horrible form it would at least still make more sense than getting Kean.

        1. This is what happens when your club is owned by Matthew Benham, lol.
I mean, they play a donkey like Nketiah as a false 9 sometimes, but even he would be better than Kean.

          1. I had to look up Matthew Benham but i get what you are hinting at here as i can see he has been involved with a gambling company for years 😀
Yeah I never really liked it when we was connected with Moises either but in the event a player join us i will nevertheless support them unless they completely screvvs with the club or fan base.

  2. Asking 30 mil for a kid who hasn’t even played a full match in a top flight is why the English get mocked as hard as they do. Overhyping literally everything they touch, and then wondering why it never reaches expectation
