Intermediary of Giroud: “Who would say no to AC Milan? Nobody, Maldini is a top director”

By Oliver Fisher -

An intermediary of Olivier Giroud has dropped a very strong hint that a move to AC Milan could be on the cards this summer.

Sky (via MilanNews) reported today that the Rossoneri are serious about Giroud, so much so that in the next few days a meeting is planned between the Milan management and the Frenchman’s entourage to talk about the potential operation.

Meanwhile, Ekrem Konur states that Giroud to Milan is a done deal and the 34-year-old will earn €7m net over a two-year contract, therefore penning a deal worth €3.5m per season. Giroud would arrive fresh off the back of winning the Champions League with the west London club and would bring a wealth of experience.

As per a tweet from Nicolo Schira, an intermediary to Giroud -Vincenzo Morabito – has told Calciomercato.it that Milan are an option for the Frenchman.

“He would be a good solution in light of Ibrahimovic’s conditions. Who would say no to AC Milan? Nobody, Maldini is a top director, he is working very well with Massara.”
