The 20-year-old earned a big move to Dortmund after scoring 23 goals for Red Bull Salzburg in the first half of the 2019-20 season, and since then he has gone from strength to strength, being regarded by many as the best young striker in the world.
Haaland has hit a ridiculous 57 goals in 59 games for the Bundesliga club since joining, which has aroused speculation that his stay at Dortmund could be just 18 months long with the likes of Chelsea, Real Madrid and others persistently linked.
Louis Boni – an international intermediary who looked after the interests of the Borussia Dortmund striker – spoke to Radio Kiss Kiss and revealed some interesting background on how Haaland could have ended up in Italy.
“In the past I suggested him to teams like Milan and Roma, yet no one wanted him. Haaland has been underestimated by many,” he said (via MN24).
