AC Milan legend Pippo Inzaghi recently spoke to the media about talented Rossoneri youngster Patrick Cutrone.
The 20-year-old has started the season brightly since his return from injury, netting three times in six appearances in all competitions.
“Patrick is proving to be hungry and has a great sense of scoring goals,” Inzaghi told the media.
“At Milan, he will only improve. I think that the Italian national team and Milan will have a real No.9 in a few years, who can give us some satisfaction.”
Inzaghi’s first impression of Cutrone: “I started playing Cutrone in the Primavera team – even though he was only old enough to play in Allevi team, but I did it because he had an incredible sense of goal and he was a very serious person.”
When comparing Cutrone to others: “Let’s leave him alone with the various comparisons and let’s hope that he can have the same goal-scoring feeling as us another big number 9’s had at Milan.”
On Cutrone’s future: “I cheer for him and I wish that he becomes the 1st striker of Milan and Italian NT because I know how much he cares about it.”
On who he would like at Bologna: “Which striker would I like for my Bologna team? Immobile, but I cannot say him because it would be a theft against my brother. I would like Cutrone, because he is young, and our team needs youngsters like him.”
