Inter boss Inzaghi with just one injury worry ahead of Milan derby

By Oliver Fisher -

It seems as though Simone Inzaghi will have almost a fully fit squad at his disposal for the derby against AC Milan, with Inter having just two injury doubts.

According to MilanNews, Inzaghi has all his internationals back including captain Lautaro Martinez who is fresh after playing just few minutes played in La Paz with Argentina on Tuesday. The striker trained with the squad and will start against Milan.

Aside from Lautaro, the other South Americans are not in the best condition. Juan Cuadrado was rested by the Colombia coach in the match against Chile, because he is suffering from inflammation of the tendons.

Today he worked separately, and it remains to be understood if he will be called up for the derby with tomorrow’s session at Appiano Gentile decisive.

Alexis Sanchez – due to logistical difficulties in returning from Chile – only recently landed in Milan. It remains to be seen whether he will still be able to carry out an individual session in the evening or will train directly with the group tomorrow.

His condition, in any case, leaves Inzaghi calm because he played the entire match with his national team and, apart from the normal need to regain match rhythm, he will be at Inzaghi’s disposal.
