There is a growing urgency from AC Milan to sell Theo Hernandez, and whilst he is not against the move, there is a stalling point.
In a dream world, Milan would not be in this position, in any way. Theo would be better, and not want to leave, or clubs would be lining up to pay more than what the club currently seeks. Instead, there is a growing fear about the situation.
This morning’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) writes that interest from Atletico Madrid is low, at least at the current price. So, the only feasible option is Saudi Arabia, when Simone Inzaghi wants the defender at ‘all costs’.
The two clubs have already agreed on a deal, so the holdup is on the player himself. Inzaghi has already called him personally, which could have had a positive impact. However, his family are not sure about moving to the Middle East, which is where the deal currently is not going to happen.
Al Hilal are rushing to find a solution, which is currently not being found. Time is running out, as they want the player before the closing of the FIFA transfer window on Tuesday. Should this not happen, the deal will probably not, and then the real panic starts to set in.

Why not smoothen things with this guy, and give him a new contract.
And be stuck with him like Origi? He’s not going to fix his attitude issues anytime soon.
Theo request 8m euro nett / season . Thats the highest paid for ACM. Do you really think after granted his request then his performance skyrocket? No , thats wont happen
Why not dumbfries or dimarco merda or darmian
Wow that’s some expression Inzaghi’s pulling..
The type of expression you pull when you realize you lost by the biggest margin the history of Europe’s football competitions.
5-0!!!! Still feels good. 😀 😀 😀 😀
After seeing what Yamal of Spain and Barcelona did to Theo, I realize he’s not even worth the 4.5m he’s asking for. I don’t care who the player is, those sabotaging our club’s progress should be wiped out. Starting from the players. We need to recruit players willing to die for the team. I don’t care if we sell all our top stars. Replace them with players willing to play team football
He lost motivation because the atmosphere in Milan is so bad.
People forgot already how good he was when he is very motivated. Milan’s situation drives interest from big players to come or stay. You’ll regret him leaving once that would be the trigger for Leap and Maignan too.
The management made the club like hell, no big names willing to extend, now they forced to sell them.
This definitely worse than what happened when Donnarumma left.
Why can’t the management just offer him a two year contract with same salary with option to renew with increased salary if his performance improves instead of reducing his salary.
