Italian commentator believes Rangnick has chosen Nagelsmann to be Milan’s new coach

Ralf Rangnick has already agreed to join AC Milan and wants to bring RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann with him, it is claimed.

There continues to be an abundance of speculation in the media claiming that Rangnick will be the man to lead Milan on a new youth-oriented project.

SportMediaset reported earlier in the week that Milan and Rangnick are getting closer and closer to finding a total agreement which would see him become the new head coach and director.

Rumours did emerge earlier in the month though suggesting that Rangnick could decide just to control the market and try entrust Julian Nagelsmann with head coaching duties.

Gianni Di Marzio – commentator and pundit as well as the father of journalist Gianluca Di Marzio – believes Rangnick has something similar in mind.

Speaking to the microphones of TMW Radio (via MilanNews), the former coach said: “I have always been convinced that Milan have already secured Rangnick. And I think Rangnick has already chosen the coach to bring to Milan. He is the Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann.”
