As expected, this morning’s Italian papers are dominated by tonight’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg between Inter and AC Milan.
La Gazzetta dello Sport‘s striking front cover reads: “The derby grows wings. Inter vs. Milan for a place in the Coppa Italia final and for… the Scudetto. Perisic and Leao the keys to a high-intensity game. Inzaghi: ‘It’s time we beat them’. Pioli: ‘The league is totally different’.”
They also talk about Milan’s potential takeover: “Technology, real estate, luxury brands: Investcorp worth €40bn and are targeting Italy. Inside the group that want Milan – closure in two weeks and Gazidis could depart.”
