While there has been a lot of talk about Massimiliano Allegri following Igli Tare to AC Milan, other coaches were discussed too in Tuesday’s meeting.
La Gazzetta dello Sport confirm that Giorgio Furlani and Tare met for the first time in person yesterday, spoke for four hours and exchanged opinions on the Milan of the future. What did they discuss? Three coaches at least: Allegri, Vincenzo Italiano and, to a lesser extent, Cesc Fabregas.
Firstly, on the Tare issue, Furlani will likely meet him again but not before Easter. At the same time, he will think about other options and meet other candidates, a thorough process, lasting more than two or three days. The CEO wants to make the best decision, even if it means waiting a few weeks.
The coach is an important aspect, because Furlani and Tare should agree on the main choice of the new management. At least three names were discussed and Allegri is the most well-known. Under the right conditions, he would accept with great pleasure to return to Milan.
Italiano is the other highly regarded coach. Furlani and Tare talked about him because they appreciate him a lot after earning survival with Spezia, reaching three finals with Fiorentina and an impressive campaign so far with Bologna.
Allegri and Italiano are the two main names, but Fabregas is another coach that was spoken about. That said, the feeling is that he is at the right place to keep developing as a coach, and that he will not leave Como this summer.
None of those 3 are good to take milan to where belongs!!!
Suggest a good available coach
All these ppl do is consistently criticize while offering no support. And they consider themselves loyal fans who know more than the ppl who have made the game their career.
Besides Alegri, whobyy the way played so boring football in Juve, the other 2 are coaches for mid level teams!! I am a fan for 40 years, and i’ve learn over the time thqt you need coach with championship experience not one that reach champions league spot with their team!!!
Ok so you’ve been a crappy fan for 40 years thanks for clarifying
what support do u mean?
if your sister want to do OF do you support her?
From those 3 only Alegri is available, correct? I would rather try for Conte or De Zerbi!!
You say De Zerbi after saying “ i’ve learn over the time that you need coach with championship experience not one that reach champions league spot with their team!!!” That’s clownish
Suggesting Conte is equally clownish as he’s under contract and I very much doubt Napoli would let him walk. And if he forces his way out that’s worse and clear indication he’s not a good fit for the project.
In two comments you’ve proven yourself 2 times a fool
Maybe try suggesting a coach who fits that criteria and is a free agent.
Pie in the sky I want Klopp. Who you got? (Don’t say De Zerbi who has won all of nothing)
Agree on Klop!! What project are you talking about!? They have no clue what are they doing!!!
They managed to destroy everything that was built in last few seasons in 2 years!!! We desperately need Cardinale to sold the club to someone that we can win with now and not be a joke of club!!!
Sarri
Italiano is suitable to take Milan job.
He is still young, has enough experience and ready to coach bigger club. He can be like the first appointment of Allegri in 2010 by Milan (before that he only coached Cagliari and Sassuolo), or Zaccheroni (before that he coached Udinese and Bologna).
Both brought Milan to Scudetto.
