Italy coach Mancini on Milan target: “We’ll follow him more than before”

Italy national team boss Roberto Mancini has said he will be keeping a close eye on AC Milan target Tommaso Mancini.

Speaking during an interview (via Milan News), Mancini explained that the 2004 striker has got a very good physique and he will be watching him more closely now than he was previously.

“He is good and has physique. I would have already wanted to take him to an internship, but he had commitments with the club. We will follow him more than before,” Mancini said.

The comments come after it became clear that the youngster from Vicenza is almost certainly going to be signing for the Rossoneri.

Many of the best clubs in Italy have been trying to secure his signature but it seems that Milan will be the ones who manage it.

The Italy coach will be very interested but Italy have been struggling for a prolific striker. Whilst Mancini is unlikely to mature far enough whilst the current coach is in place, he will certainly still want to aid his development and get him on the right track in the national team set up.
