Three AC Milan players were the stars of the show as Italy U17s beat England on penalties last night in the European Championship, but Mattia Liberali has taken the headlines.
Camarda and his team-mate Mattia Liberali scored a few days ago when Italy beat Slovakia 2-0, and the former added to his tally with an outstanding finish against Sweden as the Azzuri cruised through the groups.
In the quarter-final stage they met a heavily fancied England side, and Liberali scored a simply stunning solo goal to level the scores. He weaved and wound his way past several defenders before finishing with confidence, drawing Phil Foden and Lionel Messi comparisons.
😨 Mattia Liberali that is OUTRAGEOUS!

In the penalty shootout that followed after extra-time, Liberali and Camarda each scored their spot kicks while Milan goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni saved decisively as Italy went through.
