Jacobone: Kessie’s agent in talks with PSG as €60m contract demands emerge

By Oliver Fisher -

The agent of AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie is continuing to shop around to try and find the best deal for his client, according to a report.

Kessie has been at the centre of attention from both fans and the media lately as he is yet to sign a renewal with Milan, and his contract now has less than nine months to run on it with nothing to suggest a renewal is imminent. In the meantime the Ivorian continues to be linked with a number of big clubs as he could end up being a prized opportunity on the market.

According to the latest from journalist Alessandro Jacobone, it seems as if George Atangana’s attention at the moment is more on finding an agreement with a new club rather than negotiating with Milan as the agent continues in search of the perfect contract for his client.

In fact, he has spoken to Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain in recent days and in particular sporting director Leonardo, and it has emerged that he has asked for a five-year contract worth €10m net per season plus €2m in bonuses, therefore a contract potentially worth €60m net.

  1. Bye, pobega u should be ready , this is the same thing that happened at Barca with Yaya taure the sagio basquet take his position and due better than him.

  2. Kessie can leave already. Pobega played better for Torino in the same match. A box to box midfield backup is not the hardest find in market. Kessie lacks pace anyways and not suited for advanced competition in CL.

  3. They should sell him in januar to highest bid. He has won nothing and bakayako, bennacer, tonalli, pobega is better. And can compete with top teams in CL.

  4. Go ahead and go warm some bench in paris cashiee like dollaruma is at least you are going to have a greedy friend like you to talk wen warming the bench!

  5. LOL. I’m curious to know what kind of jobs people work. Bus driver with a fat public pension? If you work at place A and get offered triple salary at place B, you’d say no to place b because place A gave you your “first chance” after uni? Crazy. The fault lies with the club for not selling this summer after making two or three concrete attempts at renewal. Once they reached their max and didn’t get a signature Kessie should have been sold to the highest bidder (ideally). Same for Donnarumma. The only caveat being that getting equal quality replacements for these players on short notice or without CL money might have warranted keeping them through the end of their contracts to ensure the necessary table position, which in the end seems to have been the case. There is no 2nd place without Gigio last season. But now that it seems we’ve got the quality to be top 4 consistently this running down of contracts needs to stop. Kessie and Romagnoli ought to be the last.

  6. I wonder how PSG escape FFP rules while Clubs like Milan are immediately looked at when we spend big.
UEFA is being bribed by oil money. Stop playing Kessie. Sit him on the bench and Bring Adli in January. No use playing Kessie when he is clearly leaving
