Jashari feels Milan did better against Como in draw than reverse fixture: “We were dangerous”

Ardon Jashari got a chance to play in a more advanced role on Wednesday night, and he was largely impressive for AC Milan.

When Jashari signed, it seemed he would fluctuate across the midfield positions. Instead, he has regularly stepped in for Luka Modric, and whilst he has done solidly, he should not be confined to one position.

Indeed, the Swiss has the ability to perform in a number of positions, and playing in the ‘8’ shows a lot more of his game than what playing deeper may be able to do. Against Como, he was bright, in an unconventional midfield – where Massimiliano Allegri is concerned.

Jashari’s view on Milan-Como

Speaking after the game, the midfielder admitted that the Rosoneri had been stronger in this fixture than they were in the reverse game, where they won 3-1. After the game, he spoke to DAZN, offering his reasoning, as is relayed by MilanNews.

“I agree with Rafa. It was a tough match, but we played better than in the first leg. We were dangerous with the ball behind their defence. It’s sad we didn’t win, but the next match is just around the corner.”

    1. He’s right. But here we are wanting the result lol. How many of us wouldve taken the bad performance and a win, over playing better and draw? hehe.
