AC Milan remain in talks with Club Brugge over Ardon Jashari, but in the meantime he will have to report to their preseason training camp.
HLN in Belgium begin a report by confirming that Jashari has an agreement over personal terms with Milan, a contract worth €3m net per season. It is ‘an amount that is in line with Charles De Ketelaere’s contract at the time’.

Despite this, there is still a gap between Milan’s offer and what Club Brugge has in mind so the deal cannot go through yet. In addition, Jashari will report to his first appointment at the Basecamp on Saturday.
What happens next
Jashari has an agreement over a five-year contract with Milan, worth €2.8m net per year as a fixed base. The Swiss can earn a lot more there than at Club Brugge, even after his contract was upgraded in the winter.
In terms of both duration and salary, the conditions that Jashari offers are largely the same as those for De Ketelaere in 2022, given that he signed for €3m/yr and also penned a half-decade contract.
Brugge and Milan are still in talks about Jashari. Although the Blauw-Zwart made it clear to the Rossoneri that he is not for sale at the moment. At least not at the amount that Milan currently has in mind: all together less than €35m (fixed).
Jashari is expected at the ‘Belfius Basecamp’ on Saturday for the trip to Scotland. In principle, he will actually report there, according to those around him. Jashari will only join on Saturday, and will not play in the friendly match at Ibrox Stadium against Rangers.
The player himself is thinking more about Milan than Club Brugge. His entourage hope that the Belgian side will be accommodating of his wishes, but they know how they operate too.
This guy is a good signing. Some might say we are overpaying. But he is the guy (or at least the role) we need. The kid is a defensive mid, which is a position we have been lacking for a while. None of our mids have those skills. My guess is, he will be the casemiro in our midfield.
Jashari would complete the midfield and strengthen what was our biggest challenge last year. All too often the opposition took the path of least resistance straight up the middle. With Modric, Fofana, Ricci and Jashari we would have (on paper) the most complete midfield in Seria A. Sign him and find Theo’s replacement.
