However good his season might have been, he is still a one season wonder from Jupiter who is not worth 40M€ and certainly not worth all this drama around him, furthemore his attitude kind of rubs me the wrong way.

He renewed to 2029 with a gentlemen’s agreement that Club Brugge would let him go if a club approaches with a reasonable price. He has wanted to leave but also renewed to make sure the club would bring in revenue by selling him. Exactly what Tijji did for Milan. Club Brugge indirectly broke the handshake agreement by setting an illogical initial asking price on the player.

Those of you saying Jashari is a one season wonder. Were Riyard Mahrez,Benardo Silva,Tijjani Reijnders(when Milan bought him),Barella,Bastoni,Rafael Leao and many more players. Milan management are stingy.
You just happened to name those who eventually continued to deliver.
But for each player you named, there are probably an equal number, if not more players who failed to show anything beyond one good season (João Félix comes to mind).
Furthemore, Mahrez’s first great season was him winning the EPL and becoming EPL’s best player, this is not even remotly close to what Jashari has shown so far.
Barella and Bastoni have always played in serie A.
Silva and Leão have shown themselves in Ligue 1.
All of these leagues are vastly higher caliber than Jupiler Pro League.
But if you think that Jashari is the real deal, then the management should stop wasting time and pay the 40M€ already. Either that or move on.
Milan should not pay 40 million like some are saying – they offered what they think is worthy offer and should stick to that. It’s evident some here have zero clue what negotiations mean and how business works. Brugge are being greedy trying to push the player to some shit EPL team he doesn’t want to play for and breaking theirs gentlemen’s agreement. Regardless if Milan gets Jashari or not, they should never do business with Brugge again.
So brugge are been greedy by setting their standards and that is not business, but Milan refusing to pay up and get their team ready for the preseason is business.
