GdS: Joao Pedro and Morata on Milan’s list as management ponder plan for the attack

The AC Milan management have two kinds of profile in mind as they look for a new centre-forward ahead of the summer, a report claims.

La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Luca Bianchin did an interview with MilanNews in which he revealed the ‘two types of profiles that Milan are thinking about’ in view of the summer, when they will need to sign a striker.

It depends on the budget and achieving qualification for the Champions League, but one of the players they like is Joao Pedro of Watford. He would cost around €20-30m, has a salary that is still affordable and the player would see Milan as a good move for his growth.

The other option is to go for an Alvaro Morata type striker, i.e. a slightly more experienced striker, with a higher salary but a lower price tag, who can give experience and immediate guarantees.

Fixing the attack ‘has become a priority’ as the performances of Ante Rebic and Divock Origi means that Milan need more than just a small investment in a striker.
