Milan are looking for a striker on the market and several names have been mentioned in the last few weeks. Olivier Giroud seemed destined to join the club up until yesterday, when he renewed with Chelsea.
The Frenchman could still join the Rossoneri, by the looks of it, but alternatives are being evaluated by Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara. According to Alessandro Jacobone, they have been offered Roma star Edin Dzeko.
The Bosnian still has one year left on his contract with the Giallorossi but could leave for free, as the latter are keen on getting him off the wage bill. Dzeko earns €7.5m per year and would be willing to spread this salary over two years.
Inter were also approached by the 35-year-old’s agent, Alessandro Lucci, but it’s just an idea for the time being. Either way, Milan are working hard to find the perfect striker to strengthen the squad for next season.
