Journalist claims agent of Kessie has been in talks with Inter over possible free transfer

There has been contacts between the agent of Franck Kessie and AC Milan’s rivals Inter over a potential free transfer, a report claims.

It has been well documented that Kessie’s deal with Milan expires on June 30 of next year, and there is nothing that suggests a renewal is imminent or even that talks are heading in the right direction, with a gap between the offer on the table from the Rossoneri management and the demands of the player.

According to what is being reported by Alessandro Jacobone on Twitter, Kessie’s agent George Atangana continues to shop his client around, looking for the best offer to go back to Milan with leverage, and there have been talks with Inter director Piero Ausilio.

Given that Hakan Calhanoglu made the move across the city divide on a free transfer last summer another similar situation seems unlikely, but also that case proves nothing can be ruled out in the transfer market.
