AC Milan playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu looks all set to renew his contract with the Rossoneri as a move to Manchester United or Galatasaray now looks off the cards, a journalist claims.
Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur has told us that Calhanoglu wants to stay at Milan. His agent is in talks with many teams – as is natural given his client’s contract is ultimately expiring until he signs something. Galatasaray from Turkey, his boyhood club, also came on the agenda, but this transfer is difficult given the salary.
Last season, Manchester United came forward at the end of the transfer window, but nothing was done due to financial problems at the last moment.
Konur adds that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has asked Hakan to stay, and the numbers between Milan and Calhanoglu in terms of offer and demand are almost the same. If there are no surprises, therefore, Hakan will renew his contract.
