Journalist claims Galliani wants Maldini’s son and other Milan Primavera star at Monza

Daniel Maldini has been very successful for AC Milan’s Primavera team last season and as a reward, he also trained mostly with the senior side and earned several call ups for the match squad. At the beginning of February, he finally made his very brief Serie A debut against Hellas Verona.

After this short appearance, it remains to be seen if coach Stefano Pioli will give Paolo Maldini’s son more chances after the resumption of the Serie A campaign. However, after the season comes to an end, his future could lie elsewhere, although in a somewhat familiar environment.

According to journalist Nicolo Schira on Twitter, the attacking midfielder is the object of interest of newly-promoted Serie B side Monza, who are owned by former Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi and led by former Rossoneri CEO Adriano Galliani.

But Maldini is not the only young player that Galliani has targeted from Milan. Schira also adds that midfielder Alessandro Sala is also on the experienced director’s wishlist to strengthen Monza’s squad.
