The first two months of 2020 has given AC Milan as many certainties. The first is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has helped transform the team since his return. The other is Ante Rebic, who has been a pleasant surprise this year.
The Swedish international signed a six-month contract with the club in January, and now the Rossoneri are working to extend his stay at the club. According to Niccolò Ceccarini in his latest piece for TMW, the contract renewal will soon be in place.
The new deal will keep Ibrahimovic at the club for another year and the parties are expected to meet soon to reach an agreement. In addition to the 38-year-old, work will also be done to lock down Rebic.
The Croatian winger has scored seven goals in his last eight games, quickly becoming a very important player for the Rossoneri. Having arrived on a two-year loan without an option to buy, Milan will have to reach an agreement Eintracht Frankfurt.
Considering his recent success, the German side have upped the price tag, now asking for at least €30m to sell the player. Per the reporter, Milan are evaluating the matter and could soon make a decision.
