Journalist claims Lukaku to Chelsea can ‘free’ Milan transfer target for Rossoneri move

AC Milan remain vigilant on the transfer market, looking to reinforce the team at Stefano Pioli’s disposal with several new additions. One of these is an attacking midfielder, with numerous names linked to the Rossoneri by the media in the last couple of weeks.

A persistent name in the press is that oh Hakim Ziyech, who joined Chelsea last summer from Ajax but has found little space at the Stamford Bridge amid strong competition in the offensive department.

The player is reportedly appreciated very much by the Milan management, but Maldini and Massara seem to have chosen a patient tactic to wait until the last days of the market for Chelsea’s request to fall.

And in the meantime, the Rossoneri may have found a paradoxical ally in their pursuit of Ziyech – Inter.

In fact, Romelu Lukaku’s reported transfer from Inter to Chelsea for a fee of over 100 million euros could ‘free’ Ziyech to join Milan.

This was reported by Calciomercato.it‘s Fabrizio Biasin, according to whom Chelsea ‘may need to sell after such an important investment’.
