Journalist claims Milan and Roma have been offered Fulham midfielder – there is an issue

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign midfielder André-Frank Zambo Anguissa from Fulham, according to the latest from one journalist.

Fulham suffered relegation from the Premier League last season leading to suggestions that some of their higher earners could leave, and Nicolo Schira writes that Zambo Anguissa’s agent has offered the midfielder to Milan and Roma. The Cameroon international is expected to leave Fulham and agent Maxime Nana is clearly hard at work finding him accommodation.

It is not the first time that Anguissa has been linked to Milan and they are still looking for a defensive midfielder, but there is an issue. In January 2022 the 25-year-old will be involved in the Africa Cup of Nations with Cameroon, like Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer, so he would not necessarily fit the criteria that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are looking for.

If some players were to be sold though, it might be an option worth taking into account.
