Journalist claims Milan are eyeing two-year loan plus option for want-away Chelsea forward

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been handed a boost in their reported pursuit of Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech as he wants to leave, according to one journalist.

Ziyech continues to be linked as a target for Milan as they look for quality reinforcements for the attack but also versatile elements, and the Moroccan falls into this category as he can play either as a No.10 or as a right winger.

According to the latest from Nicolo Schira, Ziyech is not in Thomas Tuchel’s plans and wants to leave Chelsea this summer. He could leave on loan, and the Rossoneri management are still interested in signing him on a loan deal until 2023 with an option to buy included.

There was the reported obstacle of his salary, but Milan are able to use the benefit of the Growth Decree tax relief scheme in order to make his €6m net (€12m gross) salary more affordable, as it would come in around €9m gross.
