AC Milan are examining the possibility of signing not one but two Marseille stars on free transfers at the end of the season, a report claims.
The Rossoneri continue to be heavily linked with a move for Florian Thauvin, whose current deal with the Ligue 1 giants is set to expire in June 2021, meaning he would – as it stands – be available in a cut-price deal.
According to Marco Ramiccia of MilanNews on Twitter, there have been discussions with the entourage of Thauvin, however for the moment they have never resulted in a real offer being made by Milan. Paolo Maldini and co. are continuing to monitor the evolution of the situation related to his renewal.
Interestingly, he adds that Milan are also interested in another Marseille player who could be available on a free transfer in Jordan Amavi.
The 26-year-old plays as a left-back and continues to be heavily linked with a return to England, where he played before in the Premier League with Aston Villa.
