Journalist claims Milan are still very interested in Sassuolo striker with €20m price tag

Milan are scanning the market for a striker as they need a name for the future, considering that the 2021/22 season most likely will be Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s last. It’s one of the priorities for the summer, therefore.

Several names have been linked with the Rossoneri over the last few months and it’s clear that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are indeed working on it. As reported by Niccolo Ceccarini, in his latest piece for TMW, Gianluca Scamacca is still a target.

There haven’t been that many rumours about the Sassuolo-owned striker lately but as per the journalist, he remains a hot option for Milan. The Neroverdi would like around €20m to part ways with the 22-year-old, although higher fees have been mentioned.

It remains to be seen which striker Maldini and Massara will opt for in the end, but more news on the matter should arrive after the season. If UCL is secured, then the budget will obviously be higher.
