AC Milan have ‘never taken into consideration’ the idea of signing Mohamed Elneny from Arsenal, according to one journalist.
It was claimed by MilanNews.it that representative of German agency SPOCS was present at Casa Milan last week to discuss three players, of which one was reported to be Elneny.
La Gazzetta dello Sport then stated that he 27-year-old is an idea that the Milan leadership are seriously considering, but now their journalist Mohamed Almahmoudy has offered an update.
He claims to have reached out to Milan’s director Zvonimir Boban in person to seek clarification on the rumours.
Almahmoudy states that Milan have not sat down with Elneny’s agent and the idea of signing the player was never taken into consideration.

Elneny joined Besiktas from Arsenal on a season-long loan deal in the summer but has made just three appearances since, and it has been claimed he would be available for €15million.
