AC Milan have already submitted their final offer to Strasbourg for centre-back Mohamed Simakan, according to one journalist.
With the possible exits of Mateo Musacchio and Leo Duarte on the horizon, Milan want to cover themselves in defence and Simakan seems to be the main target.
MilanNews reported yesterday how talks with Strasbourg are ongoing, but it is now clear that he is the No.1 target for his ability to play both centrally and at full-back, adding that it is an operation that Milan could close at around €17m.
According to Ekrem Konur on Twitter, Milan have in fact already made their final bid for Simakan in an attempt to get him in as soon as possible.
He adds that Strasbourg’s decision is awaited, which implies that rather than the long-running saga we had during the summer this situation could be resolved one way or another fairly soon.
