Journalist claims Milan midfielder has snubbed Arsenal, Man Utd and Juventus for €18m deal

AC Milan will lose Hakan Calhanoglu after long negotiations over a renewal but he will snub three other clubs to sign for Inter, a report claims.

According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano and other sources, Calhanoglu is set to cross the city divide and join Inter from Milan. The general consensus is that it will be a three-year deal worth €5m net per season plus €1m in bonuses, which is slightly more than Milan’s offer.

According to the latest from journalist Ekrem Konur, long negotiations between Milan and Hakan Calhanoglu did not yield any agreement as the player has decided to move on and try a new challenge despite the Rossoneri securing a return to the Champions League.

He adds that Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus were seriously interested in the 27-year-old, but Inter’s offer of an annual salary of €6m net per season and a three-year contract convinced Calhanoglu to join.
