Reports in recent weeks have suggested that AC Milan are tempted by the idea of bringing Federico Chiesa to the club, and this morning, a new idea has been formed.
There is not a dying need for a new winger to arrive in the mercato, but, if an opportunity arises, then it will be considered, and that is the current situation with Juventus and Chiesa.
In the past season, the relationship between the player and the club has been rocky, and Massimiliano Allegri’s experiments with him as a striker have not been as successful as once imagined.
It was hoped that Thiago Motta’s arrival could rekindle the relationship, but with the former Bologna manager looking in the other direction, it seems that won’t be a possibility in the summer, and an exit seems highly likely.
Milan’s interest is not new, and it has been present as the situation has progressed, with the player’s future seemingly away from his current club, the Rossoneri could make a move.
To do so, they are tempted to offer Alexis Saelemaekers to sweeten a deal, who the Old Lady have an interest in, according to reports from Luca Momblano (via Pianeta Milan), and with Juventus only wanting €20 million, it could be an opportunity too good to refuse.

If that happens I think it will be more like RLC and Maldini covering Pulisic, while Reijnders will I guess replace Bennacer… that makes more sense than wasting Reijnders potential on the bench
maybe it has to do with Okafor-Roma rumors? Chiesa would come as Leao understudy, we would get like Okafor +10M deal with Roma for Abraham and maybe also try Bove since he has 1 year left and would be a great CDM sub, young Italian who was promoted by Fonseca of all people. And if Adli leaves, we need to try Ricci, I think with Milan he can develop into a Tonali-esque type of player.
But I also don’t like the fact that having Adli and Okafor leave, when I think they show a lot of promise. 6 new players for 4 positions when this team is already quite new, might cause balance and chemistry issues (I say might since out of 6 only 2 are starters)…

RW/LW: Leao, Chiesa, Pulisic, Chukwueze

Chiesa looks like an ex player to me. Otherwise Juventus wouldn’t sell him.
He has 1 year left and he wants to be central to the project. I don’t exclude also the facts of him staying since Sancho and Ten Haag made up… they did switch to Greenwood, but I think he will just get boycotted..
If he can overcome his fitness, maybe he will bounce back like pulisic.
Great player when in form but not a priority for us. We have pulisic & chukaweze. If we move pulisic to CAM then loftus cheek & Reinjders positions are compromised. Signing chiesa will likely imbalance the team. Better to focus on signing the players we need not the ones we like.
This is an opportunity that shouldn’t be missed. Chiesa has shown star potential earlier in his career and is still young enough to rediscover his true form in the right environment.
Motta rates Saelemaekers , add 15m and get this done.
If it’s 20m, then we should try to get him. He can play anywhere in the front 4 which will be more fluid. Players interchanging positions during the game.

He’s washed up. Not even a winger anymore. The reason he stood out a little at the EURO is because in a terrible Azzurri team he was the only one who could take his player on… But he’s done and we have ZERO need for him.

There are no reports of Milan’s interest in Chiesa. We are covered in the winger role and frankly Chiesa isn’t much of a winger anymore after his injury. he doesn’t even have a defined role. He just drifts flank to flank…
