Journalist claims Tonali will sign four-year deal with Milan before Thursday – full details of the deal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will have midfielder Sandro Tonali available for the start of preseason on Thursday having agreed a deal with Brescia, a journalist has claimed.

The Tonali saga seems to have dragged on longer than most thought it would, as the Rossoneri did not exercise their €15m option to buy last month after the €10m paid loan, plus the €10m further in bonuses that Brescia will be owed under certain conditions.

According to journalist Nicolo Schira, Brescia and Milan have finally struck a deal over Tonali, who will return to the Diavolo on a permanent basis. Milan will pay €7m plus €5m in bonuses, €3m of which are simple to achieve and €2m being more complicated.

Giacomo Olzer will leave AC Milan Primavera and go the other way as part of the deal, valued at €3m in the operation, and Tonali will sign a contract until 2025. The 21-year-old midfielder will be at Milanello on Thursday to begin preseason for his boyhood club.

  1. No buyback on Olzer??? I’d rather have paid 3m more for Tonali but retained a buyback on olzer too. Awful club management the entire start of the offseaskn so far… doesn’t give me confidence going forward……
