The search for a new sporting director continues for AC Milan, but it is not reflecting well on the club it seems, at least from outside perspectives.
Whichever way you view the current picture at Milan, there are negatives present, and the hunt for a sporting director shows this blatantly. Rather than the management aligning, there has been a clear split, and no progress has been made.

In fact, the search could end with an outcome that could have been reached almost two months ago, with the original party and leader – something which would only make the club look more amateurish than they already do at present.
Monica Colombo, the director of Corriere della Sera, joined Carlo Pellegatti on his YouTube channel, and she discussed the sporting director situation at length, as transcribed by Milan News.
“There would be material for a series on Netflix about the search for the sporting director of Milan. It seems to me that there have been many leaps forward, in the sense that several candidates who at different times in the spring were in pole position, and I am referring to Paratici, whose negotiations then foundered for the reasons we know well, linked to the disqualification.
“Then there was Tare, who, after being the favourite of Cardinale and Ibrahimovic, was met by Furlani. At the moment when it seemed that Furlani was taking a train to go to Rome, what do you think? That he is the chosen one. And instead, no. Because otherwise, being free, he would already be under contract.
“The feeling is that, considering the hesitations, on Tare, and the rejections, on Paratici, and deals that fell through, Berta, the chosen one at this moment, by Furlani, is Tony D’Amico of Atalanta. But you will note that this week the Percassi family has underlined that D’Amico is in charge of making Atalanta competitive also in the future.
“I believe that on the one hand, Atalanta wants to consider the future of Gasperini, but the feeling is that they will not get rid of both the coach and the sporting director. So, perhaps in the case in which Gasperini remains in Bergamo, the party of those who are inclined to get rid of Tony D’Amico could grow.
“Otherwise, also considering the hesitations of the managers, we cannot ignore the rumours that are circulating about the fact that the management could remain the same if Milan were to win the Coppa Italia. It is not an option to ignore, although it is the one with the least chance.”
A decision needs to arrive soon, otherwise the view on things will only become more scathing, which the Rossoneri cannot afford.
Literally none of it is confirmed or verified facts, media just posts random sh*t for the past 2 months about this mythical sporting director search.

Tare is available but seems like he won’t pull the trigger because he was a RedBird target…
As long as there are two funds fighting for power at Milan, nothing good will come of it for the club and the fans. There will never be a viable project unless we’re sold again.
For a long time i have called furlani an incompetent clown, an idiot and a fool.
I would like to change all this – furlani is a rat, a schemer who is pretending to be searching for a new sporting director. HE IS DOING NOTHING OF THE SORT AND ONLY WANTS TO RETAIN HIS POSITION AS MILAN – IN SHORT HE WANTS TO RETAIN FULL AND ABSOLUTE CONTROL OVER MILAN AND SERVE ELLIOTT HIS MASTER.
