Journalist: CSKA Moscow reject €15m bid for Vlasic from Brentford – player wants Milan move

Some more updates have arrived regarding AC Milan’s pursuit of CSKA Moscow attacking midfielder Nikola Vlasic from a Russian Premier League journalist.

According to Danny Armstrong on Twitter, CSKA Moscow have rejected a €15m bid from Premier League club Brentford for Vlasic, and it is understood that the player did not even consider the west London club as a potential destination even before the Russian club rejected to bid.

Vlašic wants a move to Serie A not return to Premier League while CSKA also see no sense in selling him for the amoung offered, given they paid €15.7m for the player to sign him from Everton in 2019.

CSKA are reportedly now willing to negotiate a loan deal with Milan, but only on the condition that a €30m obligation to buy is inserted as part of it. They were originally strongly against a loan deal and wanted money up front to pay off large debts, but they have opened to a different formula now given their situation.
