Journalist denies Arnault-Milan negotiations and reveals another attempt to buy the club

By Oliver Fisher -

Louis Vuitton group owner Bernard Arnault has no intention of buying AC Milan at present contrary to speculation, a journalist has claimed.

Last week, 7 Gold reported that Arnault is still interested in purchasing Milan after many months of silence, adding that the Frenchman is carrying out ‘due diligence’ ahead of the takeover.

Then, transfer source Louis Girardi claimed that Arnault is indeed keen on buying Milan and that he wants Ariedo Braida as CEO, Maldini as technical director, a new sporting director and Andriy Shevchenko as manager.

According to the well-known journalist Enzo Bucchioni though – as cited by MilanNews – Arnault has no intention of buying Milan and at the moment there are no open negotiations.

He adds that there was an attempt by American billionaire Dan Friedkin but Elliott Management’s request of €1billion meant he quickly diverted his attention to another club.
