Journalist heaps praise on five Milan players after Juve win reveals why Maldini makes him ‘calm’

Milan TV’s ‘Inferno del Mondays’ program regularly brings in reputed journalists for their insights and words of rationale. This time around, well-known journalist Luca Serafini made his thoughts known on a few topics- including on players like Rebic, Calhanoglu and Tomori.

Serafini appeared on Milan TV after the impressive 3-0 win over Andrea Pirlo’s Juventus and pinpointed Ante Rebic as a class act due to his performances.

He said (via MilanLive): “I love Rebic, yesterday he entered the field as if he had gone to a shopping center. He has superb class in the right conditions.”

Rebic knocked in a brilliant long range finish into the top corner to put Milan two up – arguably the most splendid goal of the night.

“If I were a kid I would have his poster in the room. He lives in his world, he is an atypical player. His goal dazzled me,” said Serafini.

Furthermore, he praised certain players and commented specifically on Chelsea loanee Fikayo Tomori.

“Hakan is back to his levels, as well as Theo Hernandez and Kessie. Tomori? He has the technique, physicality and power.”

According to the veteran journalist, Milan’s future is in great hands, thanks to the presence of club legend and lifetime Rossoneri Paolo Maldini.

“As long as Maldini is around I am calm. It means there is a project,” he ended.

Milan have witnessed a resurrection in the past year, having stepped foot back into the top of Serie A and will fight for the Champions League next season.
