Franck Kessie’s contract will expire in the summer and since there is no renewal in place yet, his name has inevitably been linked with many clubs. However, for now, the midfielder is fully focused on AC Milan.
Just a few days ago, Sky UK reported that Tottenham are interested in making a January move for Kessie. Antonio Conte is a huge fan of the midfielder and talks have already taken place over a free transfer in the summer.
However, according to journalist Pasquale Guarro (Calciomercato, Telelombardia), Kessie will return to Milan after the AFCONs. He has no intention of leaving Milan this month as he wants to win the Scudetto with the club.
Franck #Kessié non lascerà il #Milan a gennaio. Al rientro dalla Coppa d’Africa l’ivoriano proverà a vincere lo scudetto con i rossoneri.

If Kessie has decided to not renew, then a January move would have been a way for the Rossoneri to avoid a free transfer. On the other hand, he remains a key player and the renewal door doesn’t appear to be completely closed.

I would tell Kessie, “it is better to dance with the devil you know, than the devil you don’t”
