Journalist suggests Milan are among admirers of Fiorentina head coach Italiano

A journalist has suggested that AC Milan are one of the many teams that strongly admire Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano.

Writing for Sport Italia, Michele Criscitiello explained that there are a number of big Serie A clubs who are fans of Italiano and the work that he has done in Florence since he joined from Spezia.

He has ensured that Fiorentina are in their second Europa Conference League campaign in a row, having reached the final last year where they were narrowly beaten by West Ham.

Milan do not have any plans to part company with Stefano Pioli but clubs are always aware of what is out there, and Italiano has impressed them.

Criscitiello writes that Milan, AS Roma, Juventus and Napoli are all keen on Italiano. Napoli have just appointed Walter Mazzari as their new coach but that is only until the end of the season.

Were things to deteriorate for Milan and Roma, there could be plenty of contest for Italian’s signature in the summer.
