Journalist: Milan have agreed terms with centre-back and are €5m off asking price with bid

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have reached an agreement over personal terms with Strasbourg star Mohamed Simakan and must now agree a fee, it is claimed.

MilanNews are reporting that Matteo Gabbia has sustained an injury to the collateral ligaments of his left knee and that he likely won’t feature for over a month.

With Simon Kjaer also injured and with Mateo Musacchio and Leo Duarte out of the plans, the management are likely to push for the signing of a new defender in the January window.

According to a report from journalist Ekrem Konur on Twitter, Milan have reached an agreement with Simakan over personal terms.

The Rossoneri’s offer to Strasbourg is €10million, but the Ligue 1 club are asking for €15m to sell their prized 20-year-old asset. He is of course a player that was repeatedly linked with a move to Milan throughout the summer window, when his agent confirmed to us that a five-year deal had been agreed.
