However, as highlighted by TMW’s Niccolo Ceccarini in an interview with MilanNews, Milan also have a dream midfield signing for the summer: Samuele Ricci. The Italian has been linked with the club in the past and it seems a proper attempt will be made in six months.
“There is Ricci, who is the big dream for next season. He won’t move in January and Cairo said so too. He’s a big target but it depends on how much Torino will ask and on the competition,” he stated.
There haven’t been conclusive reports on the price tag, but the 23-year-old will probably cost around €30m in the summer. In other words, it would be a significant investment and the management have to make sure they get it right.
The perfect mid for Milan was Tonali. Ricci is not bad but he is way slower and more of a deep playmaker than a classic DM. Wont mind if he joins tho. We need to act fast tho and strike a deal with him early on before other teams try to get him.
