Jovic sustains injury while warming up during PSG-Milan – the latest

A bad night for AC Milan has gotten even worse as Luka Jovic suffered an injury during warm-ups before the game against Paris Saint-Germain.

There were several absences for Stefano Pioli to deal with this evening, especially in the forward department. Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze were out injured, while Luka Romero was not included in the UEFA squad list.

Rafael Leao, Olivier Giroud and Christian Pulisic started as the attacking trio and there was only Jovic and Chaka Traore who could come on to provide some respite, but in the end even the Serbian wasn’t available.

MilanNews writes that according to what was reported by Alessandro Alciato – Amazon Prime Video’s correspondent at the Parc des Princes – Jovic was injured during the warm-up on the sidelines during PSG-Milan.

He was seen grabbing his thigh and expressing discomfort, and he thus returned to the changing rooms meaning he was not available to come on.
