Juventus are close to agreeing a deal with AC Milan for Fikayo Tomori, a report claims, but the arrival of Sergio Conceicao could disrupt things.
According to what is being reported this morning by Tuttosport (via MilanPress), Conceicao wants to have a look at all the players that are in the Milan squad before any final decisions are made, and that applies to Tomori too.
The Englishman had dropped down the defensive hierarchy under Paulo Fonseca and was warming to the idea of moving to Juventus, who expressed a strong interest in signing him given their centre-back injury crisis.
The paper claims that Juve are actually close to agreeing a loan with obligation to buy deal for Tomori and while the figures aren’t mentioned they speak of a €25m valuation and interest from a couple of Premier League clubs.
The Old Lady cannot wait forever and they have alternatives in mind, such as Hancko of Feyenoord and Ismajli of Empoli who are still being considered.
Calciomercato.com are also reporting the same as Tuttosport, stating that Conceicao wants to evaluate Tomori and that the Bianconeri are pushing for him. The new boss may come to the same conclusion as his compatriot before him, so the deal is far from off.
Between selling to juventus and not selling to merde I prefer not selling.
But selling tomori anywhere else (except the blue black merde as well)… Go for it.
Exactly what I was thinking too. Unless they get Juve to pay 40M€ for him. 😀
1st W by Sergio… Keep up the good work!
Vanderson, Ricci and Pele should be our trio we should go for!
RLC, Okafor can give the international spots!
Don’t sell to strengthen a direct rival. It should never be done as a rule.
100%
We would be in a better place with Kalulu, Juve with a worse player, than we are with Emerson. We are better having Tomori on our bench or on rotation than 25 million euros.
Another Pavlovic, unproven defender in Italy is not what we need and 25 million midway in the season won’t get the caliber of pkayer who will be ab immediate upgrade over Fik. A DM
Juventus is close to making the deal..but also far from making the deal. Nice report.
We may soon be seeing a twist in this saga. Conceicao loves aggression and intensity – good qualities of Tomori.
Then he’s just gonna love pavlovic.
Tomori, not so much.
If he can beat some sense into Tomori I would keep him. He IS a good recovery CB. He’s just so prone to idiotic and unnecessary tackles that put the team in a tough spot.
Conceicao though loves his aggressive CB’s. Curious how this plays out.
Exactly
Pavlovic isn’t good defender. he slow! and he was also lowkey responsible for some Goals we concided.
He’s still young though. I think we’ve a good set of centre back if some improvements can be made. They can’t all be playing at the same level at the same time… well that would be fantastic but it doesn’t happen in other teams either. At least We’ve Gabbia Thiaw in good form. It’s not a disaster. So should be in no rush in fixing the defence.
SLOW???? LOL. That just shows you don’t even know the guy! 😀 😀 😀
WTF, that reply went to the wrong person. Sorry.
He is a good defender and he isn’t slow.
He was responsible for some goals, but name a cb who isn’t responsible for a goal here or there this season.
Pavlo is the type who, if he’s sold, at the next club, 2 years later, he’ll triple his value with good performances and then people are gonna be like ‘oh Milan never should’ve sold him’.
So is thiaw.
Pavlovic can be many things but slow he isn’t.
He just needs time to adapt, like any other young player who play in a new league.
How about ” SLOW FEET ” not speed…..
SLOW???? LOL. That just shows you don’t even know the guy! 😀 😀 😀
And so was Gabbia. Look how he is now.
Exactly. We don’t have defenders with same speed as Tomori neither very agressive.
He may like Pavlovic too. Both havre that in them with Tomori much more quicker in recovering, not to mention being more experienced. If the coach can help them be less reckless and install some tranquil in them, we would be good as we are at centre back. Of course with Tomori especially willing to be patient and fight back for a starting place.
Tomori is new Nesta according to these comments
Zero reading comprehension skills
His mental issues keep continuing.
Hope thay guy gets some real help in 2025.
Cos this is serious. I don’t know how he got that conclusion from the comment section.
There’s no real interest from EPL clubs. He doesn’t have a good rep in England, he wasn’t deemed good enough for the Euros squad.
Euros squad was max 4 or 5 CBs.
Plus Southgate was biased towards Premier League playing players.
I don’t think he was.
Ruben and tomori just weren’t good enough.
You’re talking about EUROs
Tomori two seasons ago was a lot better than Guehi, Konsa and Dunk.
He would’ve been third behind Joe Gomez and John Stones there.
Ofc I’m talking about euro. It’s the last tournament that happened. And you mentioned it originally.
Who gives a fúck what form he was in 2 years ago? That’s ancient history.
4 example 2 years ago sterling was a good player. Nowadays, not so much.
But let’s talk about the euro a bit more. They made it 2 the final, didn’t they? I don’t see how having tomori or not would change anything for them.
Given the EPL is and was a much better league than Serie A, why wouldn’t he be biased?!?!?
D*mbass management wants to sell Tomori and that left us with only 3 CB; Gabbia, Thiaw, and Pavlovic.
Our best duo right now is Gabbia-Thiaw but if one is out or worst case scenario two of them injured then who can rely on, Pavlovic who still sucks? I rather have Tomori alone as CB than Pavlovic.
You’re the dumb one if you think they won’t bring a replacement cb.
Actually you’re dumb because you think pavlovic can’t hack it
Our Scudetto winning defence were all young and could have laid the foundations for the next decade.
Instead most of them will end up playing for our direct rivals.
New years same bs from the same dude..
Figures
Pioli’s team (that is Pioli the manager and the players who played under him) also produced one of the highest win rates of any Milan team in history.
It’s completely unacceptable for the management m to be forcing out the players who have laid the foundations for our success often in spite of the management’s efforts to undermine them.
