Juventus defender Danilo has named two AC Milan players as the hardest opponents that he has had to face in his career so far.
Danilo spoke on Juventus’ official YouTube channel about the strongest opponents he has faced in his career, and he named the French full-back and the Portuguese winger as the two.
“It’s not easy to defend against Leao. He’s one of those I like best to face. Like Theo Hernandez, I like facing them because they are strong and fast and tests my qualities,” he said (via MilanNews).
It is perhaps not a surprise to hear Leao and Theo credited by an opponent given they have formed a lethal partnership down the left flank which has really blossomed this season and has been a big part of Milan’s current standing atop the Serie A table.
The former Lille man has hit double figures in goals in what has been a breakout season of sorts after a couple of inconsistent campaigns, while the former Real Madrid defender continues to establish himself as one of the best attacking full-backs in the world.
