Repubblica: Juventus join list of suitors interested in 24-year-old Milan midfielder

By Oliver Fisher -

Another suitor has entered the race to sign Franck Kessie on a free transfer and it is one of AC Milan’s rivals, a report claims.

The negotiation between Milan and Kessie for the renewal of his contract expiring in June 2022 seems to be at a stalemate despite the fact that the Rossoneri have made an offer that includes a big pay rise and the player stated at the Olympics that he wants to stay.

According to the latest from from La Repubblica (via Calciomercato.com), Juventus are very attentive to the developments between Milan and Kessie with regards to talks over a potential renewal.

In case of no agreement over the extension of the former Atalanta man’s contract, the Bianconeri would be ready to enter the race to sign him, but they are not alone as per other reports.

Tuttosport (via MilanLive) claim that Liverpool and Tottenham are keen on signing the 24-year-old, without forgetting the interest of Paris Saint-Germain who are always attentive to free transfers.

  1. I’m more convinced than ever that the source of these leaks is Milan trying to drum up a January market and get the best possible return. I’m sure Milan recognizes that renewal is likely a longshot, so get the best possible assets.

Kulusevski and Kean become interesting as swap targets if Juventus is actually interested.

    1. No offense but time for a reality check as kulusevski has a contract lasting untill 2025 and is a more vaulable player than romagnoli and moises kean is currently at loan at juventus with an obligation to buy in 2023 so why would you think juventus would have the slightest interest in a swap deal of that sort.

    2. My bad read it as romagnoli well maybe that would make more sense but still i doubt it as they can pre-sign kessie february 1rst for free for the coming summer.

      1. What are you smoking? Why in the hell they would swap a promising talent? They want to strengthen no weakened their team. I don’t see De Light move to Milan as we are.
We don’t have player of De Light caliber to make a fair swap. If Maldini pull something like that I’d give him respect
