It might not have been the result that the 60,000 fans at San Siro wanted, but it was still great to see Ricardo Kaka back home during last night’s game against Liverpool.
Kaka was expected to be there and he was spotted on the sidelines before the game and it was versus an opponent he knows well having played against the Reds in the 2005 and 2007 Champions League finals in Istanbul and Athens.
The Brazilian was interviews by Milan TV in the build-up to the match, and he answered the questions with that same infectious smile.
“Mamma Mia there are a lot of emotions. Every time I come to San Sir it’s a great feeling, great memories, the fans… Really, my heart… There are no words to describe this moment,” he said.
“It’s a big history with Liverpool: 2005, 2007. They were a big part of my career and a big part of my life.”
Kaka was handed a shirt with his name on by the interviewer, which he will wear in a few days in the Milan Legends game in Georgia for Fondazione Milan and Sport for Change.
“I can’t wait to play in this shirt again. It’s always nice to see old friends again and play with them. It’s special. AC Milan is special to me.”
He might have played some nice football back in the day, but now he’s Bolsonaro-supporting far-right scum.
What the hell does his opinion here!
it just sad to see him holding no22 jersey remind us his time, then watching our current no22 playing
Ricardo kaka. The greatest attacking midfielder to ever play the game, super man with speed, flair, and dribbling
how I wished he could be at the field for us for the game, he might added some spark of life our current team is lacking…
