CM: Milan have no plans to let young star Kalulu leave during January

AC Milan have no plans to leave Pierre Kalulu leave the club during the January transfer window, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com have published a report stating that the French defender has earned the trust of Pioli and the management who consider him absolutely not available for transfer under any conditions, which may seem like an obvious statement given the absence of any real rumours suggesting teams are interested.

There may be some concern that he lost his spot in the starting line-up to Alessandro Florenzi in the last three games who has filled in well recently during Davide Calabria’s absence, but there is absolutely no doubting the talent and the potential that Kalulu has, plus he is versatile given his ability to play right-back and centre-back.

The 21-year-old arrived on a free transfer from Lyon as somewhat of an unknown quantity but has quickly generated a lot of enthusiasm and looks like another real scalp for the scouting department, led of course by Geoffrey Moncada who is very familiar with Ligue 1 having worked for Monaco.
