Pierre Kalulu is continuing his individual training programme at Milanello and the game he is targeting for his return has been pencilled in, a report claims.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) recalls that Kalulu picked up a calf muscle problem with the France U21 national team over the break, and he has been doing solo work in training since.
According to the paper, the former Lyon man is aiming to be back in time for the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals against Napoli, scheduled for next April 18 at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
Given that Pioli has chosen to go back to a four-man defence and deployed it with great success in the 4-0 win over Napoli on Sunday, it will be interesting to see if Kalulu walks straight back into the team and in which position, given he can play centre-back or right-back.
