AC Milan are always on the lookout for the best young talent around Europe, and Konstantinos Karetsas is on the radar.
As Tuttosport (via MilanNews) confirm, an initial meeting was held at Casa Milan between the management last week, focused specifically on the transfer plans for the summer. Massimiliano Allegri, Giorgio Furlani, Igli Tare and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all took part.

Another name from Belgium
One of the profiles that has been written in the Milan management’s notebook – one that all of the directors seem to agree on – is the Genk talent Konstantinos Karetsas. The club have been tracking the 18-year-old for over a year, and his growth continues to impress them.
Karetsas can be deployed as a second striker or right winger and would be one of those signings that would fall into the category of promising talents for the future. This season alone, he has already played 43 games across all competitions, amassing three goals and providing 18 assists.
For a talent of this calibre, however, fierce competition is inevitable. Karetsas is a highly sought-after player, especially in the Premier League, where top clubs like Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are hot on his trail.
Added to this is his rather high price tag, especially considering his age: the Belgian club will ask for no less than €35m. Ultimately, it will be up to Milan to make all the necessary assessments, also aware that the transfer market will require strengthening various areas of the pitch.
Initial estimates suggest that Allegri’s requests are to sign at least one or two central defenders, a midfielder, at least one winger and obviously a center forward. That won’t come cheap, especially given that he wants ‘ready’ players.

It will be surprising if we sign him
Another club brugge story?
We price our top talent at 10-15 and then I don’t know who at 18 is 35 million. I mean if we are speaking about future Messi perhaps but who is this guy?
He plays for Genk not Club Brugge.
Well you’ll get to know him, I’ll tell you that. That kid has a golden left foot, his passing is excellent. He made the Freiburg defenders look foolish at times. His potential is huge, Belgium is still regretting the fact that he chose Greece (where he is easily one of the better players already) over Belgium. Genk can ask for way more than 35, he will go for 50
Lol. We all saw how players from Belgium do…he isn’t worth over 20M + potential performance bonuses. You can buy 2 talents for that money and you have a better chance.one of them will do good…
Omg just because CDK was a flop, it doesn’t mean there is no talent in Belgium. Pacho, Osimhen, Doku, Igor Thiago, Sadiki, Nusa to name a few of recent years.
You never saw him play and that’s okay… 20mil 🤦
Meanwhile Bruges u19 is in the semi finals, so it’s exactly the place to go look for talent.
Which of these players went directly to a top club and did good? He is overhyped in the same way Jashari was. Obviously.
Is there actually a single player that went from Belgium to a top club and did good?
Sell Pulisic if he doesnt renew and buy this kid. koretsas has great skill and talented
Please dont from Belgia
we are totally idiots
I don’t know if any of this is true, BUT if it is I guarantee you Max isn’t asking for this player. Management is out out doing it’s own thing again. Instead of focusing the budget on Allegri’s requests first, THEN using what’s left on random 18yo’s, these clowns are putting the carriage in front of the horse again…
Yes because Serbian league is such a guarantee right
Vasilije Kostov will be better than him. Better mentally. Milan should get him before he is also 35M€
Wonderkid player. Milan should be recruit him.
Milan are not interested, don’t be fooled.
