After signing a centre-back and a striker, AC Milan have a plan in place to secure their next signing of the summer mercato.
It has been a case of targeting one position, then the next for Milan. A striker was first, then a central defender and now it appears the Rossoneri will move for a player to sit behind the No. 9. Someone to replace Rafael Leao, perhaps.

The Portuguese winger has not yet left the Rossoneri, but all things would suggest that things are heading that way. Although interest has not yet arrived, his stance has been pretty clear – that he wants to leave – so whether he’ll open to other options later in the summer will need to be seen.
Milan’s new priority
For the Diavolo, though, they are not waiting for his decision and could already make a move for their ‘next priority target’. Indeed, that would be Konstantinos Karetsas, the Genk starlet who could be the ideal profile to sit behind Goncalo Ramos.
This morning, Corriere dello Sport writes that he would ‘fit perfectly’ into the system and with his 22 contributions last season, he represents a fantastic option.
He has been heavily courted by Borussia Dortmund so far this summer, however, a deal has not been agreed yet. The German’s most recent offer of €25 million was rejected, with Genk hoping for at least €35m.
As it stands, Milan are not ready to send a bid to the club, though. Instead, they want to secure a preliminary agreement with the Greek youngster and then proceed into negotiations with the Belgian club.

How come it is always Milan that buys these “supertalents” from Belgium? Not a single club from the richest league thinks they should go for them?
Perhaps 🤔 they are more talented than Italians?
well Liberalli was a good talent, but he wanted Como
Which super club need an attacking Midfielder? I’m sure Madrid, Barcelona, City, United, , Arsenal, Bayern already have better players in that role so why would they buy him.
Because he really fits for the attacking syistem of ac milan.
Alajbegovic is what we need we don’t need this slow weak player
you never saw him play
I did
I’ve never watched him in a game and it’s hard to judge someone based on YouTube clips alone. What I do know is that the boy is a great talent and shows a lot of promise, just like many before him. He is only 18 and I don’t know how much of a reinforcement he would be for us in the first season. Serie A proved to be a great challenge for many players from the Belgian or Dutch league. But players like this are bought as a pledge for the future! Those from Borussia know that well. Of course, mistakes can be made. The club has scout services… let them do their job.
I’d get him without a blink of an eye and make him a starter as AMC/RW for the next 10 seasons.
Losing this generational talent to Borussia would be disastrous, as you will see them selling him in 3 seasons for 80+.
All the purchases from Belgium have been “instant success”, right? So… If Karetsas were to join us, he should be loaned out immediately to get familiar with the league first. He would be no use for us in the 2026-2027 season.
Foden should absolutely be our priority right now, but signing Karetsas as the long-term successor should be the ultimate chess move.
I wish we could bring Karetsas in to shadow Foden as his backup and sell Chucky. But if Karetsas needs regular playing time elsewhere first, we can do the Real Madrid style to sell him with a guaranteed 50% buy-back clause to protect us in future.
But Foden should be our absolute priority if we want to win right away.
To dream is free, right?
Chucky 😀
Yeah… all shades of horror. On and of the pitch.
Movie man.
Don’t be so harsh, I’ve seen way worse players than Chukwueze and I have some watching experience…
*watching = following = supporting
I never said Chucky is the worst player I’ve seen, I never even said he’s a bad player.
The name Chucky is just a short for me and no pun was intended absolutely.
Don’t be the harsh one now.
“All shades of horror ON and off the pitch”.
OK, it’s my fault(,) then, I guess.
That was after you said “Chucky”.
And please be very objective when dealing with me.
I never said he’s a bad player doesn’t mean I think he’s a good player, it also doesn’t mean I cannot say he’s a terrible player.
But, my original comment on wasn’t a harsh one, just sell Chucky for Karetsas. Same way y’all want Leao out, imagine I feed on that to start saying he’s not the worst player I’ve seen, don’t be harsh?
That would be me just been stupid.
But, actually for your information, I do not think Chucky is a Milan level worthy player, and that also doesn’t mean he’s the worst player I’ve seen. And yes buddy, he’s he has his flashes here and there but he’s not “horror” in the literal sense of it, but you should get the point of reference since the Chucky in movie represents horror.
I got the point, I smiled to that, the “on the pitch” part was too much for me.
It’s ok.
Just rhymes.
agree, in this point, i’ll go all-in in Foden, w/ Amo want to play Sael at LWB, we don’t need an urgent buy, we can go shoping more after we sell some of deadweight,
