Moretto: Karetsas wants Milan over Dortmund and could wait for dream move

Konstantinos Karetsas has prioritised a move to AC Milan over Borussia Dortmund, but he might have to wait to see how things play out.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Karetsas is now Milan’s new number one target, after they wrapped up deals for Goncalo Ramos and Mario Gila right at the start of the summer window.

The asking price for the Genk star is around €40m after a breakout season in Belgium. So, the Rossoneri management are looking to make at least one sale first to bring in some funds, with Rafael Leao naturally being the prime candidate given his value and his salary.

Karetsas picks Milan

Now, Matteo Moretto has given an update on the future of Karetsas. He has revealed that Milan seem to have taken pole position in the race at least when it comes to the player’s preference.

“In the last few hours, even Belgium has confirmed that Milan are interested in Karetsas, and that Milan are still in the running with Dortmund,” he said (via MilanNews).
